New Delhi | The Delhi government has announced the imposition of a night curfew by April 30 due to increasing cases of coronaviruses. Under this, it has also been implemented with immediate effect from 10 pm on Tuesday night. Now till 30 April, every night from 10 am to 5 am curfew will be in the city. The announcement was made by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after discussing it in detail with senior officials of the state government. The meeting was held by the Chief Minister to increase the ban in the city to curb the growing menace of the epidemic in the state.
Earlier on Friday, Kejriwal said that the national capital is passing through the fourth wave of Covid-19. However, the government has not taken any decision regarding the lockdown. The statement issued by the government said that the curfew in the national capital from 10 am to 5 am has been implemented with immediate effect, which will continue till April 30. This decision has been taken in view of the rapid increase in the number of Covid-19 cases
