Protestors from Punjab also join AAP’s protest in Delhi

New Delhi, . After the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the ongoing fighting on the streets is showing no sign of abating. Aam Aadmi Party workers from different states, especially Punjab, are trying to surround the PM’s residence.

On the other hand, Delhi Police has also tightened its belt. Delhi Police personnel are deployed everywhere and wherever they see protesters, they are taken into custody. Section 144 has been imposed in the entire area.

Especially on Tuesday, all the workers were to gather at Patel Chowk and after that they were to move ahead, but the Delhi Police team present at the spot is detaining the protesting workers and removing them from there.

Along with this, BJP has also started its protest. BJP is demanding Kejriwal’s resignation.

Police detained Punjab minister and AAP leader Harjot Singh Bains from outside Patel Chowk metro station during the protest against AAP’s PM residence ‘gherao’.

In view of this demonstration of Aam Aadmi Party, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has also issued a statement saying, “For security reasons, gates of Lok Kalyan Marg Metro Station, Gate No. 3 of Patel Chowk Metro Station and Gate No. 3 of Central Secretariat Metro Station have been closed. “Entry/exit at number 5 will remain closed until further notice.”

On the other hand, in view of Aam Aadmi Party’s call for protest, Delhi Police has increased security outside the Prime Minister’s residence and Patel Chowk metro station. Along with this, diversion has been implemented on roads including Kautilya Marg, Niti Marg, Tughlaq Road and many other roads.

BJP is also protesting in Delhi. This demonstration is against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. BJP leaders and workers are protesting demanding the resignation of CM Arvind Kejriwal. BJP’s protest is taking place from Feroze Shah Kotla Stadium (Delhi Gate) to Delhi Secretariat via ITO.
