New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the death of devotees who lost their lives in a road accident in Dausa, Rajasthan. Along with this, he announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to the families of the deceased in the accident and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) wrote on the social media platform X quoting PM Modi, “I am deeply saddened by the loss of life and property in an accident in Dausa, Rajasthan. Condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. An ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh will be given to the families of each deceased from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. The injured will be given Rs 50,000. ”
Earlier, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed grief over the Dausa road accident and wrote on the social media platform X, “The news of loss of life in a horrific road accident in Dausa is extremely sad. The district administration has been directed to ensure prompt and proper treatment of the injured. May God give place to the departed souls in his lotus feet and grant speedy recovery to the injured.”
Expressing grief over the accident, Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari wrote in an X post, ”The news of loss of life in the horrific road accident on Dausa-Manoharpur road is extremely sad and painful. May God give place to the departed souls in his lotus feet and grant strength to the bereaved families to bear this unbearable grief. I wish for the speedy recovery of the people injured in the accident.”
There was a severe collision between a pickup and a container in Dausa. This accident happened near Bapi on Dausa-Manoharpur road, when people were returning after visiting Khatu Shyam Ji. 11 devotees died in this horrific road accident. The collision was so severe that 10 died on the spot, including 7 women and three children. At the same time, a woman died during treatment.
