New Delhi, February 19 . The name of the Chief Minister will be revealed after the BJP Legislature Party meeting to be held in Delhi on Wednesday evening. Before the meeting, speculations are rife about many names. One of the prominent names is that of Shalimar Bagh MLA Rekha Gupta. Her family hopes that she will definitely become the Chief Minister.
Rekha Gupta’s family members are feeling proud of her political journey. Her mother-in-law Meera Gupta said, “This is a very good thing. She has brought pride and honour to our entire family – both in-laws and parents. For the first time someone from our family has become a leader. She was elected councillor for the first time, then became an MLA for the first time and now she is on the way to becoming the Chief Minister for the first time.”
A neighbour of Rekha Gupta said, “We have worked very hard in the elections. We hope that she will become the Chief Minister of Delhi. She will take Delhi very far. She has also fulfilled the responsibility of the family very well.”
Earlier, Rekha Gupta broke her silence on the claim for the post of Chief Minister. She told the media that no one has any claim here. The names are being discussed in the media only. In BJP, the organizational decision is final. Whoever the party gives responsibility to, he will work dedicatedly. I am confident that as soon as a BJP leader becomes the Chief Minister, a new chapter will begin in Delhi. A new saga of development will be written in Delhi under the BJP government.
