New Delhi. The Indian Youth Congress, under the leadership of National President Srinivas Biwi, staged a strong protest against the Center regarding the ‘Tax Terrorism’ of the Modi government against the Congress through the Income Tax Department.
On this occasion, National President of Youth Congress Srinivas Biwi said, “BJP is resorting to tax terrorism to weaken the opposition. The central government is constantly trying to weaken the opposition party in different ways, but Congress is not afraid of these tactics.
The entire country has come to know that BJP has collected donations worth about Rs 8,250 crore through the electoral bond scam. The Supreme Court has termed electoral bonds as against the Constitution. The Income Tax Department (IT) and the Election Commission are turning a blind eye to the shortcomings of the BJP, they are only seeing Congress.
Congress is being harassed under the guise of IT department rules. Don’t the same rules apply to the BJP? The IT department is wrongly imposing fine on Congress and demanding money. These things clearly indicate that the IT department is not seeing the shortcomings of BJP.
Srinivas Biwi demanded that a notice of Rs 4,600 crore should have been given to BJP from the IT department and strict action should be taken against them.
During this protest, many Youth Congress workers were going to Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road to protest under the leadership of Srinivas Biwi. Delhi Police barricaded and detained many Youth Congress workers.
On this occasion, National General Secretary of Youth Congress and Delhi in-charge Koko Padhi, National General Secretary Manish Chaudhary, National Secretary of Youth Congress Mitendra Darshan Singh, Vardhan Yadav, Satyavan Gehlot, Delhi State Youth Congress President Ranvijay Lochav, and Delhi Youth Congress Working President Shubham Sharma were present. Many other Youth Congress workers were present.
