Lucknow| The second wave of Coronavirus infection is becoming very terrible. In view of the increasing prevalence of infection, the UP government has decided to complete a lockdown every Sunday. After a review meeting with Team-11, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to complete the lockdown every Sunday in view of the rising infection of Coronavirus in the state. This decision of the Uttar Pradesh government is considered to be very important. All the urban and rural areas in the state will now be completely closed on Sunday. During this time, all markets and offices except the most essential services will remain closed. On this day, a comprehensive sanitation campaign will be conducted in the most infected districts of the state.

There will be a weekly arrest on Sunday in all rural and urban areas of the state. Only sanitation, sanitization and emergency services will operate during this period. Necessary awareness works should also be done in this regard.

The Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to safeguarding the life and livelihood of every citizen. All necessary efforts should be made to ensure that people do not have any kind of discomfort due to Covid. The list of those eligible for maintenance allowance should be updated. The government will soon provide relief amount to them. The system of ration distribution work should be reviewed under various schemes including Antyodaya. The government will provide ration and maintenance allowance to all the needy.

The MLA fund proved useful in the work related to the prevention of Kovid last year. This year also, according to the rules of the Covid Care Fund, their funds can be used in Covid Management on the recommendation of the legislators.

The first phase of the panchayat elections was concluded in a very peaceful manner. In areas where certain efforts have been made to spoil the atmosphere, strict legal action should be taken against those involved in it. This action will set an example for other phase elections.

It is compulsory for everyone to apply masks in the state. A fine of 1000 is to be applied when caught without a mask for the first time. If caught for the second time without a mask, then ten times more fine should be applied. There is a need to strengthen the system in all 10 districts with high infection rates like Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi. New Covid hospitals should be built according to local needs. The beds should be increased. The private hospital should be converted into a Covid hospital. Immediate United Medical College in Prayagraj to be converted into a dedicated Covid Hospital.

Half of the 108 ambulances should be kept for the use of Covid patients only. There should be no delay in this work. Home isolation patients’ facilities should be fully taken care of. The response time of the ambulance is minimized. Availability of oxygen and other medical needs should be ensured.

There is no shortage of funds for the tasks associated with Covid management. Quarantine centers should be operated in all districts. The quarantine centers should have proper medical facilities as well as proper arrangements for food and sleeping.

Increase the number of dedicated Kovid Hospital. Increase the number of hospitals in L-2 and L-3 levels. There should be no shortage of beds anywhere. Ensure provision of trained human resources in hospitals.

Every day more than 1.25 lakh Covid tests are being conducted in the state. This needs to be extended further. Testing is a very important weapon in fighting Kovid. Arrangements for rapid antigen tests at the airport, railway station and bus stations should be ensured for passengers and people coming from other states.
