New Delhi: On the occasion of World Health Day, Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi inaugurated a VSA Oxygen Plant in her Lok Sabha Constituency on April 07, 2022, at the Moolchand Hospital, New Delhi.
The oxygen plant with a capacity to generate 500 litres of medical oxygen per minute has been installed to ensure there is no shortage of oxygen for the patients of the hospital.
The shortage of medical oxygen was a major issue faced by various locations in the country during the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Keeping in view of this, an oxygen generation plant has been established with financial support from Amba Dalmia Foundation for self-sufficiency of oxygen in the hospital.
