‘Black Panther’ star Chadwick Bossman dies of cancer at age 43

Actor Chadwick Bossman, known for playing the superhero Black Panther, has passed away. According to the post on his official Twitter account, 43-year-old Bossman had been suffering from colon cancer since 2016. “With great grief, we confirm the death of Chadwick Bossman. Bossman became a global star with the role of a superhero in the 2018 film Black Panther. He has also played roles in ‘Captain America: Civil War’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’. His last released film was Spike Lee’s ‘Da 5 Bloods’. The film released on Netflix on June 12 amidst lockdown.

He started his career with television shows ‘Law and Order’, ‘CSI: NY’ and ‘ER’ and then gained considerable fame with the film ’42’. In it, he played the legendary baseball player Jackie Robinson.
