Delhi: Corona vaccine to be applied to 1 lakh people per day

NEW DELHI| Once the corona vaccine is available, one lakh people will be covered daily in Delhi by the Corona vaccine. Both government and private hospitals will play their role in the introduction of the Corona vaccine. The Delhi government will introduce the Corona vaccine to the public through private hospitals, government hospitals and small dispensaries. However, this vaccine will be completely free for all people in both private and government hospitals. In order to practice the entire process of how people will be vaccinated in Delhi, a dry run of Corona vaccine was conducted in the capital on Saturday. During the dry run, the Delhi government practiced the process of applying the vaccine in private hospitals, government hospitals and dispensaries.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said, “Preparations have been made for the installation of the Corona vaccine all over Delhi.” A dry run was carried out at three places in Delhi on Saturday. These included the practice at GTB Hospital, Venkateswara Hospital which is a private hospital and government dispensary at Daryaganj. We have to install this system in dispensaries in addition to government and private hospitals.

All Corona vaccine centers will be linked with a rough hospital. Initially, the vaccine will be given to the health care workers first. After this, this vaccine will be applied to the frontline workers. In the third phase, people who are above 50 years will be given this vaccine. Apart from this, people who are less than 50 years of age but are suffering from some disease will also be given this vaccine on a priority basis.

After inspecting the vaccine center set up at Dariyaganj government dispensary, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that preparations have been made to install corona vaccine on a priority basis to about 51 lakh persons in Delhi.

The corona vaccine will be administered to 10 individuals at a time. These individuals will be kept under observation for half an hour after applying the Corona vaccine. If a person has any problem during this time, in such a situation he will be taken to the hospital for treatment.
