New Delhi| Maulana Waheeduddin Khan, an Islamic scholar and conferred with Padma Vibhushan, died on Wednesday night due to Corona. He was 97 years old and was admitted to a private hospital last week as he had a chest infection and also had a corona test positive.
He was the founder of the Islamic Center in New Delhi. He was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Delhi after a coronavirus infection. He died a few days later. The Islamic Scholar was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2000, and the Padma Vibhushan this year. They have two sons and two daughters.
