All India Minority Front (AIMF) asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to provide Rs.1 crore, as he promised, as compensation to the families of corona warriors martyrs who died while dealing with corona virus patients.
They said that many government workers have already raised their voice so many times for personal protective equipment and compensation but nothing is heard so far. Result is that so many corona warriors are getting infected and suffering from covid -19, he lamented.
The AIMF chief also criticized the Delhi Government threatening its employees for salary freeze and disciplinary action if they don’t turn up by Thursday.
Due to lockdown, many poor including house maids and people engaged in small works are struggling to make ends meet in Delhi. In order to highlight their plight, Mr Asif demands government support until their life hits back to normal.
He says, while the state government has addressed and provided relief to auto, taxi and e-rickshaw drivers, the poor and corona warriors in the city have been ignored in the relief package by the Chief Minister.
