Red Cross plans to move for Spreading the Awareness about natural calamities and against drug abuse at Districts Levels: Sangita Saxena

Indian Red Cross Society ( Delhi Branch ) resolved a resolution about speeding awareness about prevention of drug abuse and natural calamities at Districts Level in NCR area in its meeting  organized under the Chairmanship of Smt. Sangita Saxena and Member of Managing Body at Red Cross Bhawan, Golf Links, New Delhi today.

After meeting DM- South East, Delhi and Secretary of the Red Cross Society- Delhi Branch Smt. Isha Khosla ,   informed that it was decided in the today meeting to move iat the level of villages/towns / colonies / Markets of every district of NCT of Delhi area for spreading awareness about first aid, natural calamities like earthquake, flood , fire , pandemics etc. to local people under disaster management programme.

Further, Smt. Isha Khosla also explained that it was also decided that IRCS, Delhi Branch will organize first-aid and CPR training in schools and colleges and also discussed about the several social activities in the meeting in association with Residential Welfare Associations, Market Traders Associations , NGOs and Schools Societies.

While giving the details of the calendar of projections for activities , Smt.Isha Khosla  said that Delhi Branch of Red Cross Society will organised the various type of program till March , 2024 in which blood donation camps , Athletic Compitition , Camp for Cancer Patients, Dental and Eye, Nutrition Support to TB patients, Camps for Divyangs and Flag Day Week in coordination with MCD , NDMC , CISF , Revenue Departments of all Districts of NCT of Delhi and NGOs.

Smt. Isha Khosla recalled the principles of the Red Cross Society and said that Humanity, impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Services, Unity and Universality are the basic of the IRCS . And we will following the principales towards the welfare of human being always with everyone respect.
