Switzerland, a federated country of central Europe. Contains 26 states, has countless beautiful old towns, the world’s best chocolate and the 6 natural wonders.
One of the wonders is Oeschinensee; it is a horseshoe-shaped tiny lake that is situated in the Bernese Oberland of Switzerland ( in the middle of Switzerland ) perfectly formed by Mother Nature. The lake is fed through a series of mountain creeks and drains underground. The lake is generally frozen for five months, from December to May. From time to time ice skating is possible on the ice.
The second one is Rhine Falls, the largest and most powerful waterfall in Switzerland formed by the last ice age more than 14,000 years ago. The falls are located on the High Rhine on the border.
The third wonder of Switzerland is Aletsch Glacier. It is Incredibly immense and incredibly beautiful: lying in the south-central of Switzerland. It is a part of the Unesco World Heritage Site.
The fourth wonder is the Matterhorn, one of the best-known mountain stands between Switzerland and Italy. The Matterhorn stands proudly as the tallest mountain With its unique pyramidal shape, The mountain has four faces that face the four main compass points. Since the faces are so steep, visitors can notice the glaciers that have formed at the base of each peak.
Lauterbrunnen Valley The fifth wonder is considered the most impressive glacial valley. Lauterbrunnen Valley is home to 72 thundering waterfalls, including the popular one also.
Eiger, The notorious mountain in Europe is the sixth wonder of Switzerland considered the best Oberland ridge to climb. It is located above the Lauterbrunnen Valley.
