Farmers stopped traffic on the Ghazipur border

NEW DELHI| The farmers’ agitation against the new agricultural laws entered the 27th day on Tuesday, after which farmers blocked the Ghazipur border (Uttar Pradesh) with tractors. People coming from Delhi towards Ghazipur and Ghaziabad on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway faced a lot of problems as the road has been closed from both sides.

“Traffic on both sides of the Ghazipur border is closed due to farmer agitation,” Delhi Traffic Police alerted the drivers on Twitter.

Additional CP Traffic, Outer Range, Delhi tweeted, “Ghazipur border going from Delhi to Ghaziabad has also been closed for traffic. This route was already closed from Ghaziabad to Delhi. Traffic was diverted to Nizamuddin Khatta, Akshardham And diverted from Ghazipur Chowk via Anand Vihar, Apsara, Bhopara and DND. ”

At the same time, the borders of Singhu, Auchandi, Piau Maniyari, Saboli and Mangesh are also closed. The drivers have been advised to take alternate routes through the Lampur, Safiabad, Palla and Singhu school toll tax limits.

Traffic is diverted from Mukarba and GTK Road.

The traffic police has also asked passengers not to go to Outer Ring Road, GTK Road and NH 44.
