Municipal Corporation will get its fair share, cow shelters will be helped: Rekha Gupta

New Delhi, March 2 . Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta along with her cabinet visited Gopal Gosadan Harewali Gaushala in Bawana on Sunday and inspected the facilities available there and resolved problems related to cow shelters.

During this, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stressed on ensuring that the Municipal Corporation gets its fair share. She vowed to avoid the mistakes of previous governments.

CM Rekha Gupta said, “We will not follow the way of previous governments, who did not give the Municipal Corporation its fair share of money. I will ensure that the Municipal Corporation gets its share and the work of cow shelters continues without any interruption.”

She also expressed views on the progress of the nation and the importance of preserving traditions.

Describing religious and cultural preservation as the priority of the Delhi government, he said, “Even after 70 years of independence, our country was in a state of ruin. What was revered in our Sanatan Dharma was also ignored. All pilgrimage sites, all cow shelters and our devotion to our God were somehow ignored. After 2014, a new dawn came, which raised hope in the hearts of those who believe in Sanatan.”

At the same time, BJP MP Yogendra Chandolia also criticized the previous government’s attitude towards cow shelters while speaking at the event.

He said that it has become clear how the Delhi government and Delhi Municipal Corporation have discriminated against cow shelters in the past. He demanded Chief Minister Rekha Gupta to release the funds allocated for cow shelters. He said that I am confident that the cow shelters will be strengthened by the Delhi government.
